My name is Randi thanks for stopping by.

I love a good story. My grandpa was a wonderful story teller.  He would create these crazy tales that many times included chocolate and native Americans.  I have no idea what they have to do with one another but he could come up with some crazy stuff.  I didn’t spend a lot of time with him but I remember just waiting to hear what he was going to say next when we did spend time together.  He created community. He inspired imagination.

Growing up we had a large farm table where our family of seven sat around.  Most days we would end up at the table; talking, eating or doing homework.  The table gave us a place to belong and the time we spent there was sacred. Stories came to life at that table.

I write because I hear stories being told all around me. They bring meaning and perspective to my life. I am able to get through tough times when told a story of comfort or endurance.  My celebrations in life become poignant and enriched when wrapped in  stories of triumph or sentiment.

My greatest wish is to encourage, invite, challenge, comfort or empower you with what I share on this blog.

I love to meet new friends so feel free to contact me.

Thanks for visiting,

P.S.  In case you are wondering, I’m married and have two young adult children.  My all time favorite thing to do is go on an adventure with any one of them or all three!

  2. Hello,

My name is David Ramos. I am searching for reviewers who might be interested in reading a Christian devotional based on the life of Abraham and came across your blog because you have a similar approach to studying Scripture.

I’d love to answer any questions you have whether about the book or me.

In the mean time, here is the Amazon page for the book in case you want to see what it looks like and read the short description:

As far as learning about the author, you can take a quick look at my about page:

If you’re not interested, or just a have a huge stack of books you’re working through right now, no problem, just ignore this email 🙂 But if you are interested please reply back and I will be happy to send you a copy!

Thank you again. I look forward to hearing back from you. Enjoy your week!

    1. Hi David, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have taken a look at your book and your website. I do resonate with your writing and thinking! if you still need reviewers for your devotional I’d be happy to read it. I’m assuming you are looking for reviews for your Amazon site? Anyway, let me know if you’d like me to review it. I’d be happy to help.
